I felt like a princess
It might be good for him to actually bond with the people he was living with, Isaac aside. “Maybe Isaac’s already made something; he’s the best cook in the world.”
Quinn contained the flinch at the compliment towards Issac, wondering how often Blaine complimented her when she wasn’t around. She shook that comment off though and realized she was still just acting like a spoiled child instead of trying to do what was best for Blaine. Sure, encouraging a friendship with the guy he’s been sleeping with not 72 hours ago might make go against her better judgement, but she had to do something to make sure he was happy and if that meant embracing Isaac, she would. “Well I’m glad. Maybe he’s made some waffles that aren’t dry and hard like the ones someone else makes…” She trailed off teasingly as got up, turning back to shoot the still laying Blaine a grin.
“I don’t know about you, but I’m still pretty beat after the long drive and the… strenuous activities after. What do you say to breakfast?”
Quinn let out a sound of agreement, turning over in Blaine’s arm to nuzzle against his neck for a second, planting a few kisses up to his lips before pulling away. “I like the sound of breakfast right now. I think we worked off all the food I’ve eaten in the past week last night.” It didn’t hurt that she wanted to see the dynamic in the Anderson household now that they had a permanent guest. “Should we eat down there or bring it back up here?” Either option was fine with her. Down in the kitchen would satisfy her curiosity, but up here would give her the alone time with Blaine she so desperately wanted.
He knew he definitely didn’t want to propose until he’d graduated high school, but he also knew that there was no one else he wanted to be with anymore, and that it couldn’t hurt to get a head start on ring shopping. He just had to figure out what Quinn would like. It shouldn’t be too hard.
It was the first morning in what felt like ages that Quinn slowly and contently woke up. Instead of the nightmares and exhaustion, she’s slept like a log with only good thoughts and it was all because Blaine was laying there beside her. She felt the comfortable weight of his arm wrapped around her and the warmth of his breath as he was pressed up against her back.
Slowly she moved her hand up to grasp his, intertwining their fingers. She let out a pleasant sound as she blinked her eyes open and arched backwards a bit to stretch, rubbing up against Blaine. “Mmmmm… good morning” Quinn huskily got out, smiling as she turned her head to take a look at Blaine, having missed the soft and disheveled look he had for that first little while after waking up.
Yep! But we are both super busy and trying to handle real lives as well as fictional ones. We’ll get back to this ASAP though!
“Man, I’m beat. We should, we should get breakfast… somewhere. Mm, food.” He started to drift off, thinking of tables full of pancakes and bacon.
"Sex and food… the foundation of our relationship." Quinn commented with a chuckle, snuggling into Blaine’s arms. "So you want breakfast, huh?" She turned her head up to look at his closed eyes, her hand going up to trace the contours of his face. "You think the kitchen is stocked? I could cook you something, call it another anniversary present. I’ll have you know I’ve gotten quite good at cooking lately."
He set her gently on the bed before moving over to his dresser and getting some PJs for both of them. “Happy to be home?”
"Very" Quinn answered, taking the long shirt with a smile. She declined the offered pants, just in case they couldn’t quite get to sleep. "There isn’t any other place I’d rather be on our anniversary." Her grin grew at the reminder they’d been together a year, taking a second to look at her ring. "Perfect…" She muttered softly, truly happy.
It was good to know that despite everything, Quinn still wanted him, maybe even more than before. “Wanna go to bed?”
"Yes, more then anything yes. I’m not sure I can walk though. You really milked me for all I was worth." They were both silent for a moment, staring at each other before twin smiles broke out and they both laughed, Blaine’s forehead tilting down to lean against hers.
He continued to lick her through her orgasm until she was pushing him away and even then he just stood up and wrapped his arms around her. “Good?”
In answer, Quinn kissed him before nuzzling into his neck and smiling. “Yes, yes it was. It always is.” She told him, placing a few quick kisses on his skin. Leaning back to look at him, she took in his disheveled appearance and reached a hand up to tame the curls, laughing when she found nothing could be done to fix them. “You’re still the best ever.”
